Early in 2008, 30 Club members were each given a part of a picture and asked to reproduce it in any medium except oils. None except the Club Secretary and Chairman knew what the picture was although those who had certain parts of the face were able to guess. The finished montage was unveiled at the club's spring exhibition in May and was very well received. It has been exhibited in a local Art shop and now resides in the Beecroft Gallery on Southend sea front. It is around 120cm high by 72cm wide.

The picture below was completed by Bill Perkins during an evening demonstration in September. His original picture was taken on a sunny day, but he decided to make it rainy and very successfully too!
